Monique is a choreographer, dance educator, and performer with a lifelong background in the performing arts and nearly a decade of experience working with dancers of all ages.
She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory, where she trained across dance, voice, and acting. She has also studied dance at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center, further shaping her foundation in technique, versatility, and performance.
Most recently, Monique served as the founding director of a new competitive dance program, where she helped shape the studio from the ground up. Under her direction, the program completed a successful, award-winning inaugural season.
As a choreographer, Monique is drawn to work that feels musical, detailed, and emotionally connected. She values movement that highlights each dancer's strengths while still challenging them to grow, and she brings a thoughtful, performance-driven approach to every piece she creates.
Whether setting choreography, refining transitions, or shaping the small details that make a routine come alive, her work is rooted in clarity, artistry, and storytelling.
